How to be an Ally Through the Holidays


While the holiday season is known for cheer and goodwill, for some the season brings discomfort. According to SAMHSA's 2020 National Survey on Drug Use and Health, approximately 14.5 million people aged 12 or older have had an alcohol use disorder or issues with substance use. As we enter the holiday season filled with fun, fellowship, and festivities, let's be mindful that some of our friends, family, and colleagues may be struggling with sobriety/addiction.
