Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2021) from James Madison University. TaLisha is currently completing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Virginia Commonwealth University.
TaLisha's MSW program explored the clinical aspect of social work, which focuses on individual, small group, and organizational practices, to support a wide variety of clients. Her most recent clinical experience tackled healthcare disparities for adolescents and explored the impact of systemic challenges over the course of their development.
Alongside her clinical and educational experiences, TaLisha has worked alongside community stakeholders and a prominent government official as a campaign advocate. She is dedicated to expanding her knowledge in ways that support others. TaLisha’s foundational basis encourages a holistic overview using empowerment, cultural inclusivity, and strengths-based approaches in the individual and small group setting(s). Additionally, she will use clinical knowledge and evidence-based perspectives to guide her practice. The collective use of these approaches solidifies TaLisha’s commitment to providing suitable and realistic support to clients.
