Master in Social Work (1998), Virginia Commonwealth University. Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (1993), James Madison University. Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2007. Advanced training in trauma and attachment informed treatment, including EMDR, IFS, and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).

Allison is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive clinical experience over the last 25 years, including addiction treatment, community mental health, emergency services, and group and private practice. She has been in private practice since 2011. She has experience with assessment, crisis intervention, cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral (DBT) therapies, trauma and PTSD, mindfulness, and relationship counseling. She provides integrative therapies to help clients with issues of grief, stress, trauma, anger, anxiety, and depression. She has experience and special interest in working with active military, veterans, and first responders. Allison enjoys working with employees from all disciplines, nationalities, diverse backgrounds, and abilities. Allison is an ally to the BIPOC and LGBTQ +communities.
