FEAP offers a variety of webinars, classes, and trainings throughout the year. Below are a few highlights, but be sure to check our events calendar for new, one-time, or short-term offerings.
The Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) has two key branches: one manages stress (the "fight or flight" response), while the other promotes recovery and restoration (the "rest and digest" response). Many people today experience Autonomic Nervous System Dysregulation, a state where the stress-response branch dominates. This imbalance has been linked to chronic diseases and increased risks of anxiety, depression, and insomnia. The GOOD news is that you can learn strategies to help activate the restore branch of your ANS.
Drop in on the first Thursday of each month for a 60-minute emotional wellness break to support those who identify as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color (BIPOC) . Join us in a space that facilitates healing of race-based trauma through a connection with colleagues, shared experiences, and the cultivation of a sense of authenticity and kinship. Share and learn strategies for challenges you are facing and feel uplifted in a welcoming and soulful environment.

The FEAP WorkLife Program supports the University and Health System missions through direct services and by developing collaborative partnerships within Charlottesville and the surrounding community to assist faculty, staff and team members in navigating the competing demands of their work, personal, and family lives.
The goal is to help employees gain information and develop strategies in order to be fully engaged and do their best in work and life. To that end, the FEAP WorkLife Program provides a diverse menu of resources, programs and services that offer assistance in managing the daily challenges of integrating work, family, and personal life.
