Master Mind: Move from Stress to Calm and Wonder

When your mind won't quiet down, stress takes over. This session explores what causes the relentless inner chatter of "monkey mind” and how to tame it.

Learn the neuroscience of stress and wonder, discover five evidence-based tools to regulate your nervous system (Nature, Sound, Breath, Body, Meditation), and develop practical strategies for finding calm when life feels overwhelming. You'll learn to recognize your stress signals, understand what's happening in your nervous system, and develop sustainable practices to find calm in demanding environments.

This Hoos Well reward-eligible webinar is part of Thrive Together, a series of monthly webinars on enhancing mental health and social and emotional well-being, presented by UVA FEAP and Hoos Well.
