This seminar will review the benefits of balance training including strengthening core muscles, improving stability, preventing falls/injuries as well as improving brain function and memory! Balance is something most of us take for granted, but all of us can benefit from improving it. Balance Training therefore is for everyone at any age, including seniors, fitness lovers and athletes. To combat the decline of our balance we can make an effort to practice and improve our balance through implementing various exercises. Beth Frackleton, ACSM-PT will discuss all these benefits of Balance Training as well as review some specific balance exercises.
